Max’s B-day Party Place and Theme!!

Over the weekend I chose the place and theme for Max’s 2nd birthday, lol, even though it’s still 3/1/2 months away I wanted to start the planning stages, cuz I’m just so excited for my lil man to be turning 2 years old.

We are having his party at a kid’s party place called Giggles, it’s a very cute place, and I’ve been there for birthday parties before and have always been impressed with them.

And the theme of the party is going to be Blues Clues, which is Max’s fav show, and he and I picked that out together, which was so much fun, :)

3 MONTHS AND 2 WEEKS TIL MAX IS 2 YEARS OLD!!!!!!

11 Weeks Old!!!!

Colt and Liam were 11 weeks old yesterday, they are growing up so fast.

Colt can now hold up his head really well, and is loving tummy time more and more, and is happy to stay on his tummy for the whole 15 to 20 mins. that each tummy time lasts. He has started batting at the toys on his lil play gym (which he loves playing with). 2 days ago he laughed for the first time, he had been giggling for about 2 weeks, but 2 days ago was his first hearty laugh, it was so adorable. Colt is still sleeping about 6 hours at night, and hasn’t woken up for the 2am feeding for over 2 weeks now, so I’m guessing he doesn’t need it anymore lol.

Liam learned to smile a week ago, he smiled up at me (from his Moby Wrap), it was so adorable, and since then he’s only smiled at me so far, lol, that’s my lil mama’s boy. He can now hold his head up for a few secs at a time, he still mostly hates tummy time, but will stay content for a couple of mins. usually before he starts crying.

Colt is now 8 pounds, 8 ounces and 20 inches, and Liam is now 8 pounds, 14 ounces and 20.5 inches.

Liam was always 4 ounces more than Colt, and the same height, but by 10 weeks old he was 5 ounces ahead and ¼ of an inch ahead, and now he’s 6 ounces and ½ inch ahead. Liam eats more, and sleeps more so it kind of makes since that he’s be gaining a bit more weight and height then Colt.

Colt is an active lil guy and is up for about 8 hours throughout the day, and is very alert throughout a good portion of that time, whereas Liam is a more typical baby, who sleeps a lot, lol, and is maybe awake 4 hours throughout the day, and for nearly half that time he’s only semi awake.

It’s hard to believe that in less than 2 weeks my baby boys are gonna be 3 months old. I don’t know where the time is going!!

20 MONTHS OLD!!!!

Max is 20 months old today, and he is doing great, he's just a great big brother and has a special bond with his baby bros, esp. with Colt.  Colt and Max get along great, Max loves entertaining him, and esp. loves it now that Colt can giggle. Colt is fascinated with his big bro, and loves watching him being silly, and loves listening to him talk or read to him.

Max is now 33 pounds and 40 inches, which makes him the average size of a 3/1/2 year old lol, he's my big boy, and he def. takes after his daddy, :)

I can't believe how fast he's growing up, my lil man is fast becoming a big boy, and he is just so darn smart for his age, lol, sometimes too smart, but for the most part it's great cuz he's easy to reason with and he listens very well, and is so independent that it does make things easier, esp. with 2 new lil babies to take care of.

I'm so excited about him being 2 years old in 4 months, and i'm already thinking about what i want to do for his birthday party, and i'm so excited to start planning it, :)

2 MONTHS OLD!!!!

Colt and Liam were 2 months old yesterday, and they are 9 weeks old today, i so can't believe how fast time is moving, my lil babies are growing up so fast.

Colt giggled for the first time today, Max was laughing and being silly and Colt giggled at him, it was so adorable and Max was thrilled lol.

Colt is now 7 pounds, 12 ounces and 19 inches and Liam is 8 pounds and 19 inches.  So in 2 months time they have each gained nearly 4 pounds in weight and 3 inches in height.

The past 2 nights Colt has skipped his 2am feeding and so now he sleeps just about 6 hours straight at night, while Liam still only sleeps about 4 hours straight and is still getting up for the 2am feeding.  I don't know if Colt has given up the 2am feeding for good or not lol, but i guess only time will tell.

Rachel

My oldest sis Rachel and her husband Tommy are expecting another baby, she is nearly 9 weeks pregnant (and will be on Feb. 1st), and she is due Sept. 6th, 2010.  They are both very excited about this baby, and can't wait til he/she is born.

Their twins Ali and Ryan will be a lil over 2 years old when the baby is born.

Timmy and I

Timmy and I have been discussing getting engaged and getting married, and we are going be getting engaged very soon, i'm not sure when exactly as he's going to surprise me with that, :), i'm so excited and i so can't wait.  We then have decided that we will get married about a year after we get engaged and then we will try for more kids sometime soon after we get married, and we both hope to have a lil girl, since we already have 3 boys, :)
Timmy and i still want at least 7 kids, and possibly as many as 10.

I love Timmy so much, he is the best boyfriend that i could ever ask for, and he's an amazing father and he loves his boys very much, and they love him.
I so can't wait to really start our lives together, :)

MAX, COLT, and LIAM

Max is now nearly 20 months old, he will be on Wed. Feb. 3rd, 2010, and he is doing great, he still lovoes going to preschool, and he is making alot of new friends there.

He can now read Step 2 books, with some help, and is great at reading the step 1 books without any help, he is an amazing lil man, and so darn smart, :)

Max was 31 pounds and 38.5 inches at 18 months old.
At 19 months old he was 32 pounds and 39 inches.
Now at almost 20 months old i would guess he's gained about another pound and another inch.
He's my big boy, lol, he takes after his daddy, :)

Colt and Liam are nearly 2 months old, they will be on Mon. Feb. 1st, 2010, and they are both gaining weight at a good rate.
Colt was 4 pounds and 16 inches at birth, and at 8 weeks old he was 7 pounds, 4 ounces and 18.75 inches.
Liam was 4 pounds, 4 ounces and 16 inches at birth and at 8 weeks old he was 7 pounds, 8 ounces and 18.75 inches.

Colt learned to smile at 7 weeks, 1 day and now smiles all the time, he's a very happy and content baby, and doesn't really like being held unless he's being fed.  Colt started being able to hold his head up at 7 weeks, 3 days old (for about 3 to 4 secs at a time), and since yesterday (when he was 8 weeks, 3 days old), he's been able to hold it up for about 10 secs or so at a time.  And today at 8 weeks, 4 days old he started cooing, and he's having fun practicing that lol.
Liam hasn't learned to smile or coo, or hold his head up yet, but he sleeps alot more than Colt does and so doens't have as much time to practice.  Liam loves being held, esp. by me, and so i got a Moby Wrap and having been wearing him, so that i can still get stuff done but he can still be close to me.
Colt loves tummy time, whereas Liam hates it lol.
Already their personalities are very different, and it will be interesting to see how their personalities progress as they get older and see if they still differ alot, which i suspect they will.

Colt and Max have a great bond, Colt adores his big brother, and Max loves both his lil bros alot, but esp. Colt cuz he can interact with him more.

I love watching my 3 wonderful little boys grow up, being a mom is the best thing in the world, :)
