House Search: We found our dream house!!!!!!

2 days ago we finally found a house we love, it’s a Colonial Style house and it has 5 bedrooms, 3 full baths, 2 half baths, a huge open eat in kitchen, although while not exactly my style it is brand new and I can def. live with it lol. It also has a huge full finished basement, over a 1,000 square feet of it, that they call the Rec Room, and we will be using as a playroom. It has a 3 car garage, a pool and spa, and they are already gated off from the rest of the yard, and it’s a big property at 2.85 acres. And one of the best parts is that it’s less than 2 miles away from both our parents houses, and it’s also less then 2 miles away from the private school Max will be going to for Kindergarten in Sept. I am so thrilled, I so can’t wait to move in. We found the house and signed everything all yesterday and the closing date will be on June 14th, as the people who own this house already bought another and want to move on ASAP. We are hoping to be moved in by the end of the month, once closing has happened we are planning on painting most of the rooms, before we actually move in, as most of the colors aren’t our style at all.

The house was on the market for $950,000 and we offered the full asking price as there was 2 other offers on the table and we didn’t wanna miss out. And we got the house cuz the other 2 offers were below the asking price.

We found our dream house a lot quicker then either of us anticipated, and Timmy and I are so thrilled, we so can’t wait to paint and then move in

House Search: Continues

We still haven’t found a house we love, although we’ve looked at 11 houses already, but we do know more of what we want in a house. We decided we want a full finished basement to use as a playroom for the kids, a nice big open eat in kitchen, and at least a 2 car garage (3 would be better though). We hope to find one soon, as we have decided to try and be moved in before we get married in Sept.

Babysitting

I’m going to be babysitting my baby brothers Nathan and Ben, starting in Sept. so that my mom can go back to work. It’s gonna be a lot of work, but fun too, :). They will be nearly 2 years old by the time I start babysitting them. It will be 3 days a week, from 11:45pm to 3:15pm, so 3/1/2 hours a day and about 10/1/2 hours a week. My mom wants to start in slow as she doesn’t want to be away from my brothers too much, that’s why it’s only gonna be 3 afternoons a week. She works at a pre-school as an aide and so has the flexibility to say what classes she wants to help with. By next Sept. she said she might start doing full days 3 times a week, or she might do 5 afternoons a week, she hasn’t decided yet and she’s gonna see how this year goes first.

House Search: Begins

On Fri. May 7th, Timmy and I started to look for our new house, and the search is going good, but we haven’t found anything yet that we have fallen in love with. We know we want a house with at least 5 bedrooms, and at least 2 full baths, and we would also love a pool and a big yard, but besides that we aren’t sure what else we’d like lol. Oh and we want a house that is close to both of our parents houses, within 5 miles of both, but the closer the better.

Kellie

My 2nd oldest sis Kellie is also pregnant, she is 8 weeks, 4 days today, and is due on Dec. 16th, 2010. I am so excited for my sis and her fiancĂ© Katelyn, and they are both so excited too. They know they are gonna name the baby starting with an “M” cuz there names start with “K’s” and Kate’s son’s name is Lance (Well now Kel’s son too as she legally adopted him), so they want to continue the alphabetical theme lol.

Lance will be over 5 by the time the baby is born.

Rachel’s baby is a girl

My older sis Rachel’s baby is a girl (they found that out 3 weeks ago) and they have decided on naming her Lillian (Lily) Mae. Rachel is 23 weeks, 1 day pregnant today.

23 months!!!!

Max is 23 months old today, man oh man, I so can’t believe it, :D

He is now 34 pounds, 8 ounces and 41.5 inches.

He now reads the step 2 books with ease, and wants to start learning how to read the step 3 books, but as of right now they are a bit too challenging for him to read them on his own and needs a lot of help. He can now do easy addition and subtraction math problems (1 digit added to another 1 digit) with out any trouble at all, and is getting better at the harder ones (1 digit added to 2 digits, and 2 digits added to 2 digits). His writing and spelling are also improving. He is really an amazing lil boy, and I so can’t believe all the things he can do at such a young age.

He taught his dog Joey another trick just last week. He taught him how to sing and dance lol. He basically taught Joey how to howl on cue, and how to move back and forth to music, it’s so cute. Max loves teaching Joey the tricks, and cuz both Max and Joey are very smart it makes it easy for Max to teach Joey and easy for Joey to learn from Max. I’m thinking of getting some dog agility stuff so that Max can teach Joey some of those tricks, I think both Max and Joey would enjoy that immensely.

Max also learned to ride a two wheeler without training wheels on April 15th, 2010. He wanted to try it and so Timmy took the training wheels off his new bike and he kept trying for hours to ride it without the training wheels and he finally got it, both Timmy and I were so very proud of him, and he was so proud of himself too.

Max is playing soccer and t-ball, and is loving both. The soccer is a 7 week program on Saturday afternoons, and t-ball is a 6 week program on Sunday afternoons. Soccer started on April 17th and t-ball started April 18th. He is also taking swim lessons at our local YMCA for 6 months, it started on April 18th and goes til October 17th and is on Sunday’s in the later afternoon. So he is one busy lil boy, but he loves it.

ONLY 1 MONTH TIL MAX IS 2 YEARS OLD!!!!!!

5 months old!!!!

Colt and Liam are now 5 months old today, oh wow!!!

Colt can now roll over from back to front (started doing it at 18 weeks old). He is very good at rolling over both ways and will roll himself to get to where he wants to go, which is usually to get closer to where Max is playing, or to get into trouble lol. Now that he is mobile he doesn’t like staying in the swing or bouncy seat as much as he used too, but he does still like the excersaucer, although his fav thing is playing on the floor so he can roll lol. He is also trying to belly crawl (started that at 20 weeks old), and a couple days ago he actually moved himself forward a lil bit, and now he kinda creeps forward (he’ll go forward a bit, stop and then move again, and he goes very slowly, that’s why I call it creeping lol. So he’s not too far off from being able to belly crawl, I think he’ll be belly crawling within a few days, as he’s getting a bit faster at the creeping lol.

Liam can sit up well with help, and likes being sat up to look around for a few mins. at a time, then he gets mad lol and wants to be held or laid down. He can now grab and hold onto toys at least most of the time. He can also hold himself up with his arms, and he now enjoys tummy time for a whole 20 mins. or so now before he gets upset. He hasn’t yet started rolling over, or moving himself in a circle, but since he likes tummy time now I think it’ll prolly only be a few weeks or so before he starts doing more.

Colt is now 12 pounds, 8 ounces and 23.5 inches, and Liam is 14 pounds and 25 inches. So Liam is 1/1/2 pounds and 1/1/2 inches bigger than Colt, lol Liam just keeps gaining on Colt, which makes since cuz Liam eats more and is less active then Colt, :D

Colt is the average size of a 2.5 month old, so he’s tiny for his age, and even tiny for his adjusted age (which is about 4 months). Liam is the average size of a 4 month old, so he’s small for a 5 month old, but right on target for his adjusted age of 4 months.
