23 months!!!!

Max is 23 months old today, man oh man, I so can’t believe it, :D

He is now 34 pounds, 8 ounces and 41.5 inches.

He now reads the step 2 books with ease, and wants to start learning how to read the step 3 books, but as of right now they are a bit too challenging for him to read them on his own and needs a lot of help. He can now do easy addition and subtraction math problems (1 digit added to another 1 digit) with out any trouble at all, and is getting better at the harder ones (1 digit added to 2 digits, and 2 digits added to 2 digits). His writing and spelling are also improving. He is really an amazing lil boy, and I so can’t believe all the things he can do at such a young age.

He taught his dog Joey another trick just last week. He taught him how to sing and dance lol. He basically taught Joey how to howl on cue, and how to move back and forth to music, it’s so cute. Max loves teaching Joey the tricks, and cuz both Max and Joey are very smart it makes it easy for Max to teach Joey and easy for Joey to learn from Max. I’m thinking of getting some dog agility stuff so that Max can teach Joey some of those tricks, I think both Max and Joey would enjoy that immensely.

Max also learned to ride a two wheeler without training wheels on April 15th, 2010. He wanted to try it and so Timmy took the training wheels off his new bike and he kept trying for hours to ride it without the training wheels and he finally got it, both Timmy and I were so very proud of him, and he was so proud of himself too.

Max is playing soccer and t-ball, and is loving both. The soccer is a 7 week program on Saturday afternoons, and t-ball is a 6 week program on Sunday afternoons. Soccer started on April 17th and t-ball started April 18th. He is also taking swim lessons at our local YMCA for 6 months, it started on April 18th and goes til October 17th and is on Sunday’s in the later afternoon. So he is one busy lil boy, but he loves it.

ONLY 1 MONTH TIL MAX IS 2 YEARS OLD!!!!!!
